A one day yoni- womb retreat

window Chalice Well Yoni womb

This one day retreat draws upon the well spring of love and courage, taking place at the Chalice Well source.  An intentional space for women to befriend and heal the wounds of their deepest feminine self.

This retreat offers an immersion into somatic body work & yoga practices that restore womb- heart consciousness, hope and sexual-emotional well being
The word yoni speaks to the generative Shakti dwelling in the whole of the female genitals-reproductive area, not limiting the biological but connecting it with the sacred. It also means abode and source. Shakti guides us to transcend limitations and harness the healing wisdom of the body.

This will be a trauma sensitive space for women (of any sexual orientation, background, disability) who might have experienced abortion, miscarriage, IVF failure, infant loss, hysterectomy, heartbreak, emotional-sexual abuse, pelvic prolapse or surgery, traumatic labour, infertility challenges, sexual/ erotic blocks or any other loss or wounding that draws them to this retreat.  Gathering women in purposeful spaces to share, lift each other up or express what is taboo can be a powerful way to offset shame, blame and isolation. Through our voice and heart, we restore connection with Yoni shakti, sacred feminine energy.

During the retreat, participants will be invited to engage at their own pace:

  • Resourcing themselves in a flowing yoga practice- Inspired by the healing waters, to move with relaxed adaptability and presence.
  • Cultivating safety and steadiness at the Chalice well source, soothing the senses and mind.
  • Meeting the alchemising potential of feminine energies that gently transform fear and stagnation to rebirth love.
  • Bringing appreciation back to one's Yoni and identity by making vulva- womb art.
  • Exploring special womb-belly touch techniques that reduce anxiety and stress in the yoni
  • Connecting with beauty and hope through devotional stories of the Dark Madonna, Avalon and Sufi Tantra traditions.

This is a non -residential retreat. However it is possible to extend your stay and book into local accommodations the day before and/or night of the 2nd April.
The chalice Well is home to the red springs of Glastonbury, an iron rich source. The waters can be drunk is small quantities and can support blood building. it is possible to bottle the waters to take home.
